Shalem Circles are envisioned as authentic, dynamic communities of small groups which meet regularly to support and encourage growth in the Shalem Society’s commitment and practices.

The mission for these Circles is to prayerfully embrace the holy ground of members' personal lives, community efforts and God's dream for the new creation. Shalem Circles will provide support and accountability for deepening contemplative life and leadership throughout the regions. Remembering that the word shalem means growing in "wholeness," these small groups are dedicated to nurturing growth in contemplative awareness, holy imagination, and connecting what is happening within to God's larger movements in the world.

Ann Dean, Director of Shalem's Leading Contemplative Prayer Groups and Retreats Program, is serving as intercessor and companion to the Circles and will assist members in finding the right Circle to join.

Circles meet at least once every eight weeks, in person or by conference call.  More details and support materials are provided on the members-only website.
